Behind the mask
Is someone hidden
Never to be seen
In it's own light
The mask has beauty
The face has none
Glad I can't see the face
Only the mask is seen

A Perfect Poem (May Poetry Contest Winner)
You don't have to take my advice, but suggest you listen:
A poem should show your feelings,
A poem can reflect on beings
of this earth.
Throw in some truths
Along with some of your fantasies.
Include your thoughts,
the sights you see around you.
Don't look, observe.
Don't touch, feel.
Don't see, examine.
Examine nto the depths of a subject's soul.
And my wonderful friend, is the way -
I would write a poem.
